VDL Groep Parmala Douche

VDL Groep Parmala Douche has been ridden successfully by Maikel van der Vleuten for years. Between their results was for example winning the Dutch Championships for Young Riders in 2007. In 2008 Parmala Douche and Maikel were placed fourth during the Dutch Championships for Show Jumping Riders and also became fifth in the individual ranking at the European Championships for Young Riders. In 2009 this successful combination was winner of the Grand Prix during CSI Valkenswaard and also was third in the Grand Prix of CSI3* Saint Lô. In 2010 they were placed fifth in the Grand Prix in Offenburg. Parmala Douche passed away in 2015.

VDL Groep Parmala Douche is a daughter of Mr. Blue. This stallion has been performing on the highest level with several riders and has a numerous offspring acting in the international jumping sport. Some well-known offspring are for example Plot Blue, BMC Van Grunsven Simon, VDL Groep Santana B and VDL Groep Sapphire B.

Also the dam line of VDL Groep Parmala Douche is very interesting. Her mother Lirmaladouche herself competed on 1m30 level and has the well-known Voltaire and Darco in her pedigree. These stallions proved to be very valuable for sports and breeding. The national show jumper VDL Groep Kentucky (s. Kentucky) is a half-brother to VDL Groep Parmala Douche. Also the KWPN approved stallion Zoöloog (s. Gondelier) is bred from this line.

Already before her sports career started VDL Groep Parmala Douche gave birth to VDL Groep Unique (s. Palm S).
