Stoeterij Duyselshof

Nestled in the area De Kempen in Brabant is one of the country’s leading stud farms: Stoeterij Duyselshof. Surrounded by the magnificent woodland of the Duyselshof estate, Stoeterij Duyselshof has all the facilities needed for the breeding, raising and training of top showjumpers.

The stud farm is established by Wim van der Leegte who in 2000 started with a jumping stable in Duizel. Since that time, Stoeterij Duyselshof, sponsored by the VDL Groep, has won numerous national and international prizes.

In 2005, the breeding farm in Hoogeloon was added to Stoeterij Duyselshof. As a consequence, Stoeterij Duyselshof is not dependent on purchasing top-quality horses, but instead works with its own breeding programme. The products of this breeding programme include descendants of horses that have proven their ability in the jumping stable. When the horses that are bred in the stud farm’s own breeding stable reached the age at which they could be trained, a training stable was established in 2009. As a consequence, Stoeterij Duyselshof now has the entire process from foal through to top show jumper under its own management.
