VDL Groep Santana B

The in 1999 born VDL Groep Santana B was successful in the international sport with Leopold van Asten. With her special personality, high degree of carefulness and unlimited scope this mare gained many placings in competitions up to Grand Prix-level. A couple of striking results are winning the Grand Prix (1.60m) of Estoril, a fourth place in the Grand Prix of Rio de Janeiro in the same year and a second place with the Dutch team in the Nations Cup-competition in Falsterbo in 2010. VDL Groep Santana B was a successful international showjumper for several years.

Her sire Mr. Blue was a very admirable Grand Prix-jumper with several riders himself and he produced many international showjumpers out of a limited amount of offspring. For example Mr.Blue is sire of top horses like Simon, Plot Blue, Zirocco Blue VDL, Bluebuster and VDL Groep Sapphire B.

Also the damline of VDL Groep Santana B produced excellent showjumpers. Dam Daniëlle was an international showjumper herself ridden by Henk Nooren (sportname Maxime) and is also dam of the international showjumpers Lux Good (s.Lux Z), Patrick (s.Calvados) and VDL Groep Mistieke (s.Burggraaf), who was jumping up to 1.50m-level with Leopold van Asten. Daniëlle is sired by the well-known French foundation sire Almé Z, who was jumping in the international sport as well and is producer of valuable stallions like Galoubet A, Jalisco B, I Love You and Athlet Z. VDL Groep Santana B is part of the breeding program at Stoeterij Duyselshof since 2014.
