VDL Groep Wanett

The stallion Cassini I, father to VDL Groep Wanett, was with Franke Sloothaak a true phenomenon in the topsport. He was highly placed at many Grand Prix and won among others the Nations Cup-competitions of Aachen and Modena. His results in breeding are as much talked-about, he sires famous international jumping stallions like Cumano Z, Eurocommerce Berlin and Candillo.

VDL Groep Wanett is bred out of the mare Navarett, who was jumping on 1.30m-level herself. Navarett is by the international sport- and breedingstallion Corofino I. With Valerio Sozzi this excellent stallion showed his great quality on highest level. Also his full brother Corofino II was an international showjumper. Besides that the dam of Corofino I brought the approved stallion Camiros. As a breedingstallion Corofino I was very popular. Offspring like Corlato, Chatman, Capriola, Campino, Vagabon des Forets and Russel were performing on Grand Prix-level. Granddam E.Amorett is dam of the national jumper Kouros (s.Calypso III). In the third generation this dam line covers the bloodlines of the outstanding legend Landgraf I. With his many approved sons like Burggraaf, Libero H and Lavall I-II and also a whole list of important daughters, Landgraf I is still very influential. This dam line furthermore covers the bloodlines of Montevideo, Lord, Garant and Nordmann.
