VDL Groep Quinara

For many years VDL Groep Quinara was successful in the international sport with Leopold van Asten. She took part in Grand Prix, World Cup qualifiers and Nations Cups. Sportive highlights of VDL Groep Quinara are the victory in the 1m50 class at the GCT-final in Abu Dhabi, winning the 1m45 class at CSI2* Roosendaal, a second place in the 1m50 class at CSI3* Eindhoven and third places in the 1m55 class at CSI3* Montpellier and the 1m50 class at CSI5* Rio de Janeiro.

VDL Groep Quinara is a full sister of the Zangersheide approved Grand Prix stallion Albführen’s Memphis, who was successful in the international sport with Alexandra Fricker and later on with Steve Guerdat. They achieved good results like winning a 1m50 and 1m45 class at CSI5* Bordeaux.

VDL Groep Quinara is sired by the successful breeding stallion Quinar, who was successful in the sport with Jos Lansink. As a breeding stallion he did very well as the sire of striking international showjumpers and approved stallions like Quintender, Quality, Queensland and Quick Nick.

Dam Lara Sofia is also dam of the stallion Quinton, another offspring of Quinar. In 2008 this Holsteiner stallion was the champion of the stallion show in Denmark. Damsire Carthago showed his excellent qualities on the highest level with Jos Lansink and performed at the Olympic Games of Atlanta and Sydney. Also in breeding Carthago was an ‘one-of-a-kind’, he produced wellknown offspring like Mylord Carthago, Cash, Cicero and Caya but is even more reknown as a damsire.

VDL Groep Quinara was part of the breeding program at Stoeterij Duyselshof since 2015. She passed away in 2018. Offspring of Quinara, bred by Stoeterij Duyselshof, are:
