VDL Groep Naomie

For many years VDL Groep Naomie build up an impressive record on international level with Maikel van der Vleuten. In 2010 she took leave of the topsport and was a broodmare at Stoeterij Duyselshof. To our regret she passed away in 2015. On her record we see among others a gold-medal on the Dutch Championships for Young Riders and she won the Grand Prix of Hengelo. Other great achievements are the second places in the Grand Prix of Humlikon and the 1.55m-course in Birmingham.

Sire Concorde has proved himself to be an absolute top sire of international sporthorses. He was an international jumper with Jos Lansink and he sired top showjumpers like Jikke, Marius Claudius, Conquest and Poncorde.

Dam Ester was performing at 1.35m-level and is also dam of the national showjumpers Mirage (s.Concorde) and Uno Kinstonflap (s.Athlet Z). Mirage was invited for the KWPN stalliontesting as a 3yr old. Damsire Nimmerdor proclaimed the award ‘Stallion of the Century’ because of his excellent breedingresults. Granddam P.Minerva brought a son of Nimmerdor who was invited for the second selection of the KWPN-stallionselection and she is also granddam of the KWPN-approved stallion Itens (s.Mytens xx). Just like stallions as Grand Prix-winner Adelfos (s.Athlet Z), Polany (s.Polydor) and Granulit (s.Grannus) this dam line traces back on the mare Malve (s.Ramzes x). In Holstein this well-performing dam line is known as line 8088.

VDL Groep Naomie is awarded ‘elite’ and received the ‘sport-predicate’.
In 2015 her filly VDL Groep Kirby has been born.
