VDL Groep Jaranta (s. Mr. Blue) is a grey mare bred by Stoeterij Duyselshof.
Jaranta was trained and showed on 1m20 level by Dion van Groesen and Niels Bulthuis. From the year 2022 on her qualities were used for breeding in the breeding stables at Stoeterij Duyselshof where Jaranta gave birth to her foal VDL Groep Tresor in 2023. Unfortunately Jaranta passed away in 2024.
VDL Groep Jaranta is a daughter of Mr. Blue. This stallion has been performing on the highest level with several riders and has a numerous offspring acting in the international jumping sport. Some well-known offspring are for example Plot Blue, BMC Van Grunsven Simon, VDL Groep Santana B and VDL Groep Sapphire B.
Mother Taranta performed on 1m50 level under the saddle of Mathijs van Asten. She is halfsister to the KWPN approved stallion Warrant (s. Numero Uno) who also performed on international level, and to Chris Kapplers Grand Prix-showjumper Oranta (s. Indorado).
