VDL Groep Fleche Rouge

With Samantha McIntosch VDL Groep Fleche Rouge started her international career and achieved many successes. Later on Leopold van Asten took over the mare and represented the Netherlands at many Nations Cups and other important Championships. For many years VDL Groep Fleche Rouge competed on highest level with many victories and other prizes at Grand Prix, including participation at the Olympic Games in 2004 (fourth place with the team). VDL Groep Fleche Rouge won among others the Grand Prix of Valkenswaard and was second at the Grand Prix of Zürich, fourth at the Grand Prix of Maastricht and she was also placed second in the World Cup Qualifiers of Vigo and Verona. Fleche Rouge passed away in 2017.

Her sire is the well-known French top stallion Papillon Rouge, who competed on Grand Prix-level himself. He is sire of many approved stallions and excellent showjumpers suchs as Hors la Loi II, Tresor, Icare du Manet and Mozart des Hayettes. VDL Groep Flèche Rouge is a full sister to the Belgian approved stallion Gitan Rouge.

Dam Utopie Rouge II is a daughter of Kissovo (s.Starter). Kissovo’s dam was a showjumper on international level. This dam line includes furthermore the genes of Juriste, Vanikoro, Onmium and Kami du Fief.

In 2012 her first offspring was born at Stoeterij Duyselshof. This stallion (s. VDL Groep Cassanova Z) was named VDL Groep Cassarouge Z. Unfortunately we lost him in 2014.
