VDL Groep Eternity

Unfortunately we had to let VDL Groep Eternity go in 2012 at the respectable age of 26. Eternity was a daughter of the Westphalian stallion Fortissimo. In 1980 he was ‘Siegerhengst’ on the Stallion show and he proved himself as a sire of both showjumping and dressage horses. For example he is damsire of the international showjumper Pilot High Flight (s.Pilot) with Valerio Sozzi.

Eternity is bred out of the same dam as the Westphalian approved stallion Reuter (s.Ramiro Son I). Via Remember and Mato Grosso xx this dam line traces back on the Farnese-daughter Flarina. She is a half-sister of the stallion Choral (s.Colonel). From this direct dam line also comes the well-known stallion Lepanto (s.Ladykiller xx), who is damsire or granddamsire of stallions like Caridor Z, Larry, Lord Lepanto and Corelli.

In 2009 it was Eternity’s son VDL Groep Aristo Z (s. Air Jordan Z) who won the 4yo-section at the Z-festival. With Maikel van der Vleuten this very promising stallion received twice a 9,2 for his jumping and rideability on Jumping Peel en Maas. Besides that Aristo Z acquired some excellent results at the KWPN Stallion Competition 2009/2010. Aristo is a Zangersheide approved stallion.

Apart from VDL Groep Aristo Z we also bred VDL Groep Allstar Z from Eternity at Stoeterij Duyselshof.
