VDL Groep Dargita
VDL Groep Dargita was owned by both Stoeterij Duyselshof and Stal Van der Vleuten. After an outstanding career in the international sport it was decided to give her another career in our breedingstables. Dargita passed away in 2019.
With Maikel van der Vleuten VDL Groep Dargita won a bronze medal at the World Championship for seven year-olds in 2004. In the same year they won bronze with the Dutch Team at the European Championships for Young Riders, after which she achieved many placings in 1.50m-courses. For example at the international courses of Saint Lô, De Steeg and Zuidlaren. Another highlight of VDL Groep Dargita’s career is winning the Dutch Championships for Young Riders in 2006.
Sire Dutch Capitol proved his great genes with being a creditable international 1.50m-showjumper. Besides that he also achieved good results in breeding because he sires several international showjumpers like Del Destino, Dahlia Z and Dancing Queen Z.
Dam Largita is sired by the showjumper-producer Orthos, who is in the pedigree of a lot of international jumpers like Nomograaf, Oakie Doakie and Senator Orthos. Granddam Hargita was a good international 1.50m-jumper herself with Guido Dominici. Via Pierrot VDL Groep Dargita is granddam of the showjumper Argita (s.Indorado), who won the Stal Hendrix-competition as a four years-old. Argita was going international with her Italian rider Stefano Nogara.
Offspring of Dargita, bred by Stal van der Vleuten and Stoeterij Duyselshof, are:
