VDL Groep Comtessa

VDL Groep Comtessa has competed successfully on international level with Marilyn Little and Leopold van Asten. On her record we see among others a triumph at the WEF Wellington Challenge Cup I and second places at the Winston National and a 1.50m-course in Eindhoven. Comtessa passed away in 2015.

Sire Cash has also proven himself in the international sport and he is bred out of an international showjumping mare who is a full sister to Landgraf I and II. Cash has sired many international showjumpers such as Casino, Cash Junior, Ronaldo and Tosca. Comtessa is bred out of the mare Fortuna, who is sired by the Westphalian stallion Förster. Granddam Gerlinda brings in the valuable thoroughbred blood via sire Guter Gast XX. This dam line also covers the genes of Forscher and Dietmar. From this Oldenburger family also comes the stallion Primaner (s. Prinz Miro) and the national showjumper Landlord (s. Landstern).
