VDL Groep Amelie

Ridden by Leopold van Asten, VDL Groep Amelie has reached good results in international showjumping during several years. To mention some of them: they were winners of a 1,45m class that they participated in during CSI5* Estoril 2009, were second in a 1,45 m during CSI-W Oslo and fourth in a 1,50 m class at CSI-W Vigo. In 2011 they won the Helsinki Trophy (CSI-W Helsinki) and also the Prix Crédit Agricole in Liège. In 2013 they won a class 1m45 against the clock in La Coruña. In 2014 they won The Prix Dura Vermeer at CHIO Rotterdam.

Her sire Luidam has done well at international shows, ridden by John Popeley and Billy Twomey, and also Luidam’s offspring is performing well on this level. Also grandfather Guidam (awarded with Preferent predicate) was very successful, ridden by Eric van der Vleuten.

There is no information about the motherline of VDL Groep Amelie. Her results in international showjumping were the reason for Stoeterij Duyselshof to start breeding with her. In 2016 she gave birth to VDL Groep Lugano
