VDL Groep Gregory Z is a very handsome bay gelding, bred by Stoeterij Duyselshof. Gregory is a careful, honest horse with a good attitude and a lot of scope. He was showed by Kim Rothengatter at 1m20 level.
Gregory Z is sired by VDL Groep Cassanova Z (also bred by Stoeterij Duyselshof). This stallion, a son of Chellano Z and VDL Groep Navarett, has performed in international show jumping ridden by Leopold van Asten.
Gregory’s dam is the Hannoverian mare Gralla Rocha, (Gralsritter x Ramiro Z x Cor de la Bryère) originating from Hannoverian damline 2195201. She is one of the last descendants of her 30-year older sire Gralsritter, who died in 1996. This Hannoverian stallion brought many international showjumpers, like Ganzer Kerl, Gralshuter and Gigi. Besides that he sired the famous stallion Grandeur, who is approved for many studbooks and won the Grand Prix of Aachen with Thomas Frühmann, as well as three times the prestigious Derby of Hamburg.
Gregory was sold in Duyselshof Auction 2017.
