VDL Groep Geoffrey's dam is the famous Grand-Prix mare VDL Groep Think Twice, a daughter of Corrado I x Fier de Lui x Chicago. With Leopold van Asten Think Twice became Dutch Champion in 2003 and participated successfully in several Nations Cup-competitions and World Cup-finals. On top of this she won the Grand Prix of The Hague and Donaueschingen. Also the approved stallion VDL Groep Spiritivo (s. Indoctro) is a son of Think Twice.
