VDL Groep Alex is een mooie, grote, donkerbruine ruin v. Mr. Blue. Hij is gefokt door Stoeterij Duyselshof en Stal Burg. VDL Groep Alex werd bij Stoeterij Duyselshof getraind en op wedstrijden uitgebracht door Lenneke Rothengatter. In 2012 is Alex verkocht en sindsdien heeft hij zijn carrière voortgezet met zijn Italiaanse amazone.
